What areas do you cover?

Laura will happily travel to wherever she is required within the UK. Please mention the location as this will be added to your quote. Laura travels up to 60 miles for events and weddings and charges 45p  per mile after that. 

 

I can't find the song that I want in your repertoire list can I request it?

Yes of course you can.Laura is happy to sing a variety of different songs from different genres. Laura will do her best to make sure that you have the music you want on the day. The more notice you can give, the better!

 

How far in advance do I need to book you?

The sooner the better. Bookings work on a first come first served basis and we are currently taking bookings up to two years in advance. Booking will be confirmed on receipt of a 20% deposit.

I'm hosting a big event - are you happy to sing/play with microphones/can you advise me?

Yes Laura has a fully PAT tested PA system and the equipment required. Laura can also help to advise you on which sound engineers to hire for your particular needs. She is also happy to use your or the venue's equipment or recommended sound people. Please mention this when booking.

Do I need to provide anything?

Requirements:
A parking space when arriving by car, refreshments if required at venue for more than 1.5 hours.

Some events a place to change.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes! I would recommend me using my full PA system for amplification.

How should I pay?

A deposit of 20% is usually required in advance to secure the booking.

This is non-refundable, but does give you full confirmation of your chosen date. 

The remaining balance is due 1 month prior to the event. Bank account details will be provided on your Invoice.

Laura will accept payment via:
Bank transfer
Cheque
Cash

What is your cancellation policy? 

If you have to cancel the booking less than 1 months prior to the date of your event you will still be charged half of the agreed fee as I will have had to turn down other bookings. If you have to cancel less than 48 hours beforehand, the full amount (minus travel) will be due. Deposits are non-refundable.

Are you Insured?

As a professional member of Equity, Laura has Public liability insurance.

 

What time will arrive at the event to set up?

Laura always arrives 90 minutes prior to event, t set up sound system and sound check. 

Laura will discreetly be out of the way for when guests arrive.
